I'm typing this on my phone, forgive me for spelling mistakes. Its been awhile since i last came here. chinese new year have arrived, means i have a lot of ang pows. sadly this year so far only have 7. i want more haha. just remembered, the camp is over and now norml lessons returned... camp wasn't as boring as expected. actually the food was quite nice, however sleep time too little. having tests every week:( today everyone will be coming for cny. so will have to start preparing early. mummy already started boiling eggs for mee siam in.the morning, now cleaning the prawns, deshelling and devein. there'll be geog test next week so I'm studying for that now. was bored so i post. i think i missed the 107 th post oops. I don't feel like stuying anymore. can't believe 1 month has passed 9 more mnths to o level. i have no confidence at all. never think i can score 6 points. maybe 8 points -4 good enough alr. this abit difficult to type, anw bye!

First day of school 2012

First of all, wish everybody a happy new year! Just came back from malaysia on sunday, the 1st of january. Spent my new year in malaysia, I slept early thought wake up around 11 plus to celebrate instead i slept until 12.13am then woke up. Missed the moment... Ok, so my work is officially ended on 23 dec. I earned around 750 dollars, not bad without any qualifications=D So today was first day of school, was told that there is no lessons this week. This morning was caught because sideburn too long. Then go in front after that wait for the teacher come then say still acceptable then just go for assembly. The rest caught need pay 5 dollars for haircut. Then assembly was boring as usual. I didn't really sleep just bored. Went to class after assembly to settle some admin stuff, then recess. After recess aft come change seating, I now ended up at the back. I want sit in front also cannot because other people want also. But never mind I will ask everyday... I also dont know tomorrow go school for what, they say no lessons so we just stone in class until next week lor. Camp will be at the zooooo. Dont feel like going, but anw only 2day one night. Nothing else bye=D

Started work on 1st of december, it is just boring and tiring almost worked for 2 weeks already. Everyday come home so late and tired. The first day the lady make me do the clothes then attach me to the clothes department, do everyday I do clothes... Do what? Paste price tag, take clothes for the stores, paste more price tag, label clothes, paste more price tag, open imported goods... Just keep doing the same thing for 2 weeks. Then yesterday got 2 girl come also do clothes and today there is 1 same and another new one... The clothes all very expensive and can be bought from isetan, average is $69.90 because that is the most price tag one. Most ex I think $119.00... dunno who will buy so ex stuff. Anw I'm tired now, going sleep soon. Yay tmr not working going for class chalet. BYE=D

Wow, its been awhile since i even come to my blog. Nothing much to post, last week was kinda boring, at least there is deepavali and chem spa so don't need go school. We've taken a look at the report book. Not bad, I improved, now is 4th in class but I'm 26th in level. Improved from 31st. Though it might seem good, but my L1R5 is 12 points, even if minus 4 points still only 8 points leh, not say very goods can get into the best JCs.Next week will be another week of dreadful school. after that wil be end of year holidays!!! Though Gotta work in December. I think there will be alot of homework for the holidays because the school keep telling us that we still have to study. So they'll probably fill our free time with work. I'm actually aiming for below 8 points without bonus points. English should be 2 points and my humans 2 points, either MSP or CH(SS,EG) which is also not say very good. For the A1s, I want all sciences and double maths to get. For Chinese, I want a B3 at least. So that my result would not look too bad. I will try to post some other day. Now I think will go do chem proj or play game. Or maybe do first then play or play first then do...

I very long never post already. Because it was exam for the past 2 weeks. Have to keep studying. Finally sec 3 EOYs are over. Today is marking day. Was sick for the past few weeks until now. Peak was last day I think, forget already, but somewhere there, of 38.0 degrees celcius. Yesterday and today can play long long. Went back to playing maple partly because mummy play. Now the skills are better easier to train. I gonna play maple now bye!

Another post in the middle of the week. There'll be maths tests tomorrow. Yes, with the "s". A maths and e maths. I'm not sure if I'm ready for it, but I think it should be manageable. There is MSP tomorrow so chem test will be on friday. Teacher say suppose to finish studying for EOY already. But some syllabus haven't even finish teaching... And there is quite alot to study. Like the teacher said, 9 subjects, around 18 papers within 10 days is quite alot. Nothing else BYE=D

this week is average... Studied and did couple of tests. Bio is difficult I think, and physics is no time. And guess what? My chinese teacher change again. Finally school decided to give us experienced teacher. She's quite good. At least she puts in effort. She got us a classroom. The other teacher just use textbook, teach until so far also no use cause only need until 23 ke. Then now this teacher will have very little time to teach us everything cause whole year also never learn much, just practice last year's stuff. And my class room changed. Now at old block, first floor, will be near canteen next year. Now its quite isolated cause everywhere also construction... Nothing else BYE=D

Mid autumn and chinese chess competition SP 2011

I'm posting again... Last week was quite fun. Monday and Tuesday was holiday, so can wake up late. Then Wednesday stay in school until around 9 for mid autumn festival. We just play with the lantern. Then Thursday was teacher’s day celebration. So this week was quite slack. Don't need to do homework, just study only. Friday was teachers day, so its a school holiday. Yesterday and today was SP cup. Another chess competition. At least we passed this time round. Total team score was 3.5/7. Same as my individual score. That is the summary for the past week.

It's been awhile since I last posted. Well, tests will be approaching soon. Went for CIP today, to play with some kids at a centre. These children have family problems. Then some of them abit vulgar and violent. 1 to 2 people to 1 child. Me and carissa got a boy named il han. He's quite nice, never make noise one. Unlike some others who keep screaming. Its a fun experience. Initially I was scared of them because they hit other people. But after that still ok. Nothing else. I go study maths then sleep already. VERY TIRED NOWADAYS.

I'm bored of blogging, basically because I have nothing to post. My chinese teacher changed already, now its some man. Then I think the other teacher is still better. Because this teacher is BORING. Well, his lessons rely completely on the textbook. Anyway he is just a relief because my chinese teacher is away for 1 week. There'll be river valley competition on 13 and 14 august, its on mummy's birthday, so I decided not to go, anyway, its quite close to common tests. So will have to study again, I want holidays!!! 4th chung cheng cup 2011

Yesterday was chung cheng cup 2011. We had to go there early. 7am must reach. But I realise reach 7.30 also can. Nvm about that. I just study chinese for awhile then had to do work. Was busy the whole day, need people to submit pairings, then ask them sign for 7 rounds... Also had to copy names down for all 7 rounds. Super tired, so went to sleep early yesterday. Came home eat, bathe, read a maths then sleep. Gonna post some pictures for yesterday's event.

This week was average. But feels like a really long week. Maybe because its the first week of school after a month long holidays. There will be some tests next week already... Monday, assembly was really long. Almost 30mins late... Tuesday, had chinese protected time, have to stay back=(. Wednesday, chess... Thursday, temperature taking exercise. Don't really understand why we must take temperature. If we sick then don't come school la. Friday, Chess again, had it in my classroom. There is an a maths quiz to do this weekend. However its 2 hours long... If I do now will end around 11.30pm... Maybe I should do tomorrow morning. Oh btw, I watched transformers today with jeff. He had a free ticket. Tomorrow will be my 15th birthday=D That means I'm bigger now... Went to ETNA restaurant for lunch. It is some Italian restaurant which have a 1 for 1 offer. Food is great. The cabonara spaghetti was good. Then the anchovy pizza was quite good, but the anchovy was toooooo salty. Stuffed crust pizza was special, not too bad as well. I might post the pictures next time. Supplementary lessons during holidays???

Do you have supplementary lessons during official school holidays??? Well, unfortunately I have 4 days lessons during school holidays. Doing the homework is already bad news, and now have to go to school. Coming to think of how I felt during PSLE, I thought that would be the worst exam for your life because it's the first national exam I will be taking. Now, O levels feel like the worst exam of our life because each person taking 8 subjects and gonna have a national exam. In JC only 4 subs, PSLE also 4 subs, The extra 4 subjects is a lot. My day today wasn't really exciting, actually everyday is boring. Have to wake up early for school, dad fetched me to school. Had chem SPA again today(had one ytd). Had english lesson. Recess, then was chinese lesson. However there was no teacher, even though my chinese teacher came to school. Weird... Then had 2 physics lessons, was really boring. Then had chess, come home use com, do homework, dinner, bathe... Then I'm here typing. I don't wanna post now. BYE=D

3rd week of school holidays is over, which means school is starting. We are having lessons on week 4 so can say we have 1 week less holidays... There are some homework, still havent done a maths, e maths and some ss and geog. The rest should be done, I hope. Well, this week is boring. Never do anything exciting, I got a runescape bot=D This week mainly do my homework because last 2 weeks do less. I'm typing on the new laptop. June holidays week 1 and 2- 2011

I just realise i haven't posted for a long long long~~~ time. Well I'm updating now. It's the second week of holidays, soooooo fast one week passed. Last week had nyjc cup. We won the forth team prize. Then monday went for maths olympiad training as usual. Tuesday was the competition. Competition was quite difficult as usual, maybe its because im doing senior section. Will post my results. So after the competition went home, jarrel followed me. Then went to bathe, then play his gameboy. We went later because it was close to li kai's birthday and the rest went to but his present, so we were told to keep him waiting. Then around 3pm, we went to the MRT, he already waited for 1hour=D feel so bad. Took MRT to pasir ris. I told them about the shuttle bus reaching in about 20 mins, but they want to take public bus there. So took 354 or 358 east loop(not sure), one stop, got off and walked. Then it drizzle... We didn't know the way, so we walked a long way there, but then we found a short cut later. So we played cards there... Then went to watch kung fu panda at 11.30pm!!! Super late, ended around 1.30am... Don't know why people will vote so late. Slept late, around 3am. Because I slept upstairs, I was really really cold, as the aircon blows directly at me with a shirt and a towel as a blanket. Slept on the wooden bed frame as the mattresses were carried downstairs for the others to sleep. Thus, I woke up at 5am. Just played with jarrels phone until the rest woke up. Then played cards again and went for breakfast at macs around 9.30am. Ate the hotcakes there, first time=D So after that we went to E hub arcade. I just played 3 game of daytona, then watched the rest play other games. Had fun. Went back to chalet, slept in the afternoon. then woke up, play cards, ate lunch around 4pm... We had chicken rice. Soon it was time to go back, as the others went for dinner at around 7-8pm. Can't remember exactly when. I went home to eat mummy's spaghetti. The next day, I had CIP at peichun where we have to play chinese chess with primary school kids, and tell them where they move wrong. At least I didn't lose. Then the next day have to go for english remedial lessons as my english grade was C6, teacher encourage those with C6 or below to go, so I went. Ok thats last week, how I spent the first week of my june holidays.
Yesterday and today was raffles cup. I went for it yesterday as eugene has student leadership camp and cannot make it on the first day. Then today I arranged with him I don't need go he go. So I could start on my holiday homework, did bio today, starting on chem. Well, I will try to post more often. Anw, I got back my report book and I am 3rd in class and 31st in level, I think thats a great achievement because last time best only 70+... Ok going to sleep soon, so I will stop here, good night=D

I calculated my average: 69%
I'm not sure it is good because my L1R5 will be quite high. I think my sciences are not good, especially chemistry and biology. I actually expected to get higher for chemistry. Next week is gonna be busy. Going for make-a-wish flag day tomorrow. Next week, maths Olympiad training continues. And chess CCA will continue, as well as MSP. So will be home late everyday... Don't really like that, I wanna sleep... So after that, next saturday is nanyang JC cup, competition again... Then maths olympiad training on 30, the competition on 31st. After that will go for class chalet, from 31st to 2nd June. Then 2nd June going for CIP at Peiqun. Will be free for next few days(I hope) because there is extra lessons for those who failed(like my humans). Left 1 more day to end of MYE, malay paper 2 and 3... Classmates only until today. Well, I think malay is quite difficult. Got alot of things like need to guess one. Anyway, had chemistry paper today, A maths yesterday and malay paper 1 the day before. A maths is quite difficults afew questions I not sure how to do but just guess. Especially last 2 questions. Then I think chemistry is quite easy, easier than I thought, at least. So Hope to get good marks for that. Finished like 1/2 hour earlier. YaY, tomorrow I can play already!!!=D

Woo, never post for a long time. Just posting for the new month, keep at least 1 post each month. Now in the midst of MYE. I think I hate exam, so stressful, I can't memorise a single thing... English and chinese passed. Tomorrow is SS and biology, probably the worst day. I got a new phone number because I PUKed my phone. PUK stands for personal unblocking key. I keyed in the code wrongly several times then SIM card rejected:( I'm searching for the similarity and difference between wool of sheep and human hair. Teacher say something like that will come out. I'm gonna fail SS, don't know how write then can pass... Nothing much really happened in the past week. We went to eat mother's day lunch yesterday. I like the fried chicken there. I think I should go study now, Have SS, Bio, Maths, Geog and physics paper next week. Still studying bio and SS, should be able to finish by tonight.

Another week over, going to pizza hut later=D Anyway, today is napfa test. Improved from last year. Only standing broad jump have problem, got 187. Sit ups 44, sit and reach 50, incline pull up 20, shuttle run 10.4s. Then 2.4 still haven't receive results yet. I'd get a bronze because of standing broad jump. Quite tired now... Well, Chinese and Malay oral is over. Chem test next week. Gotta study real hard for MYE. Nothing much to say. I have been quite busy with all the tests. Every week at least 1-2... Next week, E maths and chinese... Oh well, today went for Jurong JC cup chinese chess competition. Quite okay, individual, played 7, won 4, draw 1, lost 2. So total 4.5/7. At least I passed. It was really tiring. Yesterday school ended quite early. Could leave after my physics test=D I think I did the first question wrong... And ytd, we had to run naphfa because our timing notn printed out properly. Then some just do training for 5 stations. Well, I think I did a little better, considering I jogged all the way. Ok, so had to wake up 5.30am today to go JJC, at lakeside by 7am. Train ride is quite long, jarrel say 18 stops... Tomorrow, going for CIP again. Have to reach by 9am. Aaron say will get 20 cip hours=D So gotta wake up around 7 tomorrow... sooo early, so gonna sleep now. Tomorrow is my second geography test for the year, I've been studying for days, but can't get the info in my head... I really hope I can at least pass for this test. Studied gorge, valleys, meanders and ox-bow lake. Still got floodplains and levees and deltas... So many, still need river management strategies such as re sectioning and realignment. Then under re sectioning is to coat the river bed and banks with cement and graphite, deepening and widening of the river channel. Then must explain advantages, disadvantages/limitations and example... Alot to memorise. I know the strategies but cannot explain:( Anyway I will be doing CIP on 10 and 17 of April, Chess competition on 16 of April. Really packed that weekend. There will also be mo xie and ting xie tomorrow, but I don't think will have time to study because I feel geography is more important, maybe later I spent some time on it. But will also have to memorise 2 poems for moxie, I don't really want to waste brain space plus there is a ting xie for like an age thingy in Chinese. For example, 40years old, what is it also called in Chinese... Going to search online=D Dad and Mum will be leaving for Bali(I think) in may, somewhere there for a few days... I actually feel like going for MSP tomorrow, then take geog test another day, so I have a little more time studying.

This week just passed. Today is parents teachers conference. They just said the same thing... I received physics test today. 29/40. Hope can do better=D Then went for MSP and got back our results. For composition, paper 1, 12.5/20. And written paper, paper 2, 17/30. Not sure if good because there are people who failed. Nothing much to say. Tomorrow is sports meet, don't feel like going cause isn't of much use. lalala. Just trying to make my post longer... Today back gate never open again then mum have to walk to main gate... I am officially chinese chess club secrtary. Now will have to take attendence. So, my common test results aren't good. I will try harder for Sa1, especially my humanities. Got back a maths, SS and chinese test paper today. Well, chinese is pretty good, 83/100. First time so high since like primary school... Then A maths so-so, 20/30. But it was great improvement from last time. Then SS, well as bad as I thought. 5/20. I wish I can pass next test. I'm going to sleep soon. Will post next time bye=D

3 days of my holiday has passed... Soooo fast, aaron's having his chess competition now. Won first one lost second one... 50% hahaha. Anw, I want to play maple with ding zhou but need patch. Today is mum's and dad's wedding anniversary. Went to nex, around 12, ate at a taiwanese restaurant which has 50% off all ala carte items. Then went to library to read newspapers and I read my chinese book which will be tested next week. After that we went back to the same restaurant for tea break=D Ordered a cong you bing with cheese and another with pork floss. It isn't as nice as the one in taiwan. Its just egg prata with cheese and spring onion or egg prata with floss and spring onion. After that came home... Modified my new blinds so that It fits my window. I have a new study table=D Maybe I should post a picture of it someday... Watched amazing race today... Thats about it, will post another day, BYE=D

Biology paper today, relatively easy. Finished with around 15 minutes left. So its end of term 1 common tests. Quite happy I won something for chess, cause last year never win=D So maybe I can play for a while:) Wanna see baby during weekend. Playing galcon now. Common tests are almost over. Left biology paper tomorrow. Took chinese on wednesday. Not that bad, hope can score well. My geography test was BAD:( Fail of 8/17... Not talking anymore about it. So had physics paper today, starting I did too slow, then remembered I had no time for the previous test so I chiong the structured questions. I think its quite easy. However, there is still one question I don't understand. Its the car one, some people see the upward force as 5000N and I see 6000N, so what is the real thing or our paper different. And I mean aroung 50% people see different... Had chess competition yesterday and today. I think CCHMS send a lot of people to compete. Out of 7 matches I play, four is with CCHMS people. First day draw 2 win 2, 2nd day lost 1 win 2... Lost to jeff again, but this time is because of time no more;( Anyway I won something, 7th place in east zone U16=D HAHAHA, I think not bad, though wanted 5.5 points, only had 5. Will be going for finals, not very sure when... School is not fun, thiugh this week have lots of free periods teacher never come to class(don't know why), the teachers came to school though. Tomorrow bio over, common test is over, feel like playing computerrrrrr... Its time to sleep, really tired though not really done with bio. BYE=D

wow, I haven't posted for a week. Time really flies. This week is common test week, had e maths and SS today. E maths is relatively easy, except for some careless mistakes... Just studied Chinese and a Little chemistry. Sec 3 science is not so easy after all. Chemistry was really easy for me in secondary 1 and 2 scoring A's for every test and quizzes. Tomorrow is chemistry test and additional mathematics test. I have practiced alot for A maths, should be much better, hoping for at least B3. If not march holiday is practice A maths TYS already... Chinese teacher is still very lousy. One of the day, she expects us to do ting li when there is construction outside, when they drilling... So, Chinese is on Wednesday, physics on Thursday and biology on Friday. Chess competition is on Wednesday and Thursday, hope I win something=D Then next week is school holidays YAY! I wanna play computer... Havent played for quite awhile already. I better go do my stuff now BYE!=D

I feel that my life is boring... going to school everyday, then study and sleep and the cycle repeats itself. Anyway, the A maths test is not included in our result slip=D yay!. So won't see my fail marks. Tomorrow is English component 3 Thursday is Malay common test. And I got back 2 biology quizzes today. One is 6/10 the other 9/10. Overall A1=D I don't like to go to school... Everyday very tiring. I have nothing much to say anymore so BYE!

Have not logged on for quite a while. Got back 2 tests, bio and a math. Both isn't very good. For bio, I got A2, 21/30. That's not very good as I feel that I should get at least an A1 for bio... I think geography will not be good too. And for A math, that's probably the poorest subject now, apart from SS which I haven't had any test. Got 10/25... FAIL! That's really bad. Highest in class + bonus marks is 28/25... Really good=D er... Common test is coming soon week 10, I think its better to study for it already because all the previous tests were took together and didn't have enough time to study for them. Enough about that. Just to let you know, I'm taking 9 subjects total, already spent 1 hour studying Chinese and don't even have enough time to finish my other work, yet I am expected to study Chinese the whole night:( Does it look like my other subjects are easy??? Anyway, I had a pet ant somewhere near Monday night. It ate lots of sugar=D Unfortunately, I accidentally stabbed its abdomen while giving it a shower;( So I threw it out of the window. Really sad, cause I want to see it grow big. Anw, the ant is actually a big ant, found in my room, around 1cm long. Weird that it is there. This is the third ant of the same kind. One burned to death in the lamp, one drowned in the toilet bowl, and now being stabbed. Tomorrow is cross-country and I am competitive runner... I think need to wear class tee. Its quite late now, should go sleep, so tmr can run.

Chinese Teacher

I have just finish studying chinese 4th and 5th lesson. Then I keep thinking about my chinese teacher because she never go through the passage at all. Two things I really hate about her. Firstly, during yesterday chinese lesson, she told us to do a cheng yu gu shi. I did'nt know what it was, so I went and asked her. Then she said its in the paper she always give for every lesson. Then I told her she just told us to hand up the paper... So she replied, its in the passage. So, okay now I know where to get the cheng yu from. But I still do not know what to do with the cheng yu. Is use the cheng yu in a gu shi, or use a gu shi to represent the meaning of a cheng yu. So I asked. Then she completely ignored me. Just asked to class stand, then I asked again, then just tell class to greet. After greeting her ask again still ignore me, so I just repeat 1 more time then go back take my stuff, and went back to class. So the next thing is that every lesson, she would tell us what she do the previous day and that she is very tired. So what??? I don't care how late she sleep... And she take 3 weeks to mark our shi yong wen, including the long CNY break of 5 days. Furthermore, her teaching is very lousy, though might have improved a little, but I feel she went back to the same thing... She seems to be talking to herself, I don't understand what we suppose to do at all. Maybe she talking about the lesson but her method of teaching isn't doing what it's suppose to do. Hope I can change my Chinese teacher ASAP. Oh, I opened my red paskets this morning. Guess how much I got??? Its higher than I expected, $230=D Thought this year would reduce to 100+. Hope next year get more;)

All the class tests are over, however i feel my results won't be so great... Slept late almost everyday, around 11. I am gonna sleep soon. The geog test today wasn't very good, cause I cannot remember anything when test. But worst I think is A maths where I cant get the answer even, don't count carreless mistake first... Chinese teacher keep ignoring me ask her what to do for the cheng yu gu shi thing. I don't even know what it is, how to do??? Asked her like 4-5 times, yet she can ignore me. Feel like changing chinese teacher, because her instructions not clear one. Had chess today. Lucky I bring chess tee today=D Always forget, 2 times already. Char yong cup is round the corner, now under 16. And had P.E. today, I think around 15 mins plus. Having a cross country next Friday, and I am one of the competitive runner for the class. Planning to walk most of it anyway...

TESTS GALORE

Had many tests for the past 2 weeks. Today's a maths was terrible. Only know how to do the bonus and 2 other questions... around 8/25!!! ARGH... So had chem today too. Lost 1 mark cause forget put dissolve in excess ethanol... Then had e maths ytd, was relatively simple. Had physics bio test last week. Got 23/30 for physics. could have done better if they give more time... Only 30 mins how finish?? Anyway, Slept late everyday for almost the whole week except monday 10+pm. Had a malay test today also, the middle section is where everybody will fail cause its really guessing. compre and stimulus is normal just see source got what then thats ans. Going to have geography test tomorrow on rivers, upper course, lower course, etc. Then got 4 methods erosion: corrasion, attrition, solution and hydraulic action. Then must memorise what it does and stuff sian... wow, i'm revising while blogging. Just updating... common test on week 10! soon. Chinese new year is over sadly... Havent had SS test yet, but from others experience, most probably will fail until O'level then pass... Oh last week also got chinese test. I think I got 60%. Is it bad? I guess so. wanted a 65 cause i did study quite a fair bit. Even during CNY weekend. Gonna open red packets tomorrow=D Ok, I shall post all the test results another day. BYE!

I see that I posted at least once a month, so this is for this month's post. Well, chinese new year was last thursday and friday. Lesser red packets this year, more tests. Ate steamboat for new years eve(in case we get eaten by nian...). We had physics, chiinese and bio test last week. Gonna have A maths E maths goeg and chem and MSP test next week. I have nothing much to say bout school, just don't really like going... Always sleepy during physics lesson. This year have nothing much. No O' levels, no streaming, just school exam. But we still have to work hard for O' levels already. Now 6th week of school already. Classroom is on the 4th floor of new block. Need to climb quite high. And my bag is really heavy on fridays and monday morning cause need to bring back books from school locker. Gotta go study now... Not looking forward to anything.

First post for the new year:) Well now I am in secondary 3, no sec 4 year 1. Haiz, I think life in sec 3 is much tougher. Especially A maths and bio. I got a lousy chinese teacher, to make it simple, she cannot teach one. Like talking to herself in front of the class... Class complained to HOD twice already. Haven't had many classes of SS, heard it is very tough and 60% people fail??? which means A1 got maybe 5% only... Its cold the past week. Didn't even need to on fan to sleep, just open window. I'm feeling worried for O' levels already, not because its 2 years away but because A maths is quite tough alreay. And my chinese even worse, gotta go home and study all the words and the passage. TAIWAN 2010

Okay... So now I am back from Taiwan. stayed a total of 10 days there. Start of with leaving the house about 7am, I think. We have already checked in online which is always great as: 1. No need to queue to check in, 2. we get to choose our seats:P We ate 2 Hershey's sundae pie at burger king after checking in. Loved it. Our flight was at 10.25am so we waited till its time. Took China air lines. Plane is quite good. Got personal entertainment system:P The plane can show a camera view of outside during takeoff, in air and during landing. Change your channel on your remote to channel 4 for the view before anyone else:D

When we reached there, it wasn't that cold yet... Around 25 degrees Celsius. Took our baggage, some maps of Taiwan, and a digital tour buddy phone absolutely FREE. They have 100 dollars for a start then we can top-up if need. Called a driver to pick us up from airport. The driver is reliable and on time. Furthermore, it is cheaper than taxi and the car is much more spacious.

So after we reached nei jiang hotel, took around 50 mins for the ride there, we checked in and went to put our luggage down.

We went out after that. It was around 5pm when we left. Walked to xi men ding for dinner. Was supposed to meet daddy's colleague but couldn't' find him, so we ate a restaurant called 八方雲集(ba fang yun ji). They sell great 鍋貼 (dumplings) at $5 each. Their suan la tang (sour spicy soup) is also recommended for $25 per bowl. All prices are in NTD not SD. Their dou jiang (soya bean milk) is also good for $15 per cup. Just take the dou jiang from the fridge after you ordered, its self service. And payment in that restaurant is after meal.

After that still couldn't' find daddy's colleague, so we walked around and ate crepe. Cost $90. I loved it.

So we continue walking until xi men station, then daddy called his friend to go there as it is a more prominent landmark... Then finally we found him. He brought us to take mrt. Forgot go where already. I know its some night market.
Oh, before the night market we went to wu fen pu, somewhere which sells clothes and clothes. I would get lost in there as there are many small roads the whole place. We ate a ice cream popiah(thats what I call, dunno real name) for $20(Don't know price), a cong you bing (direct translation is: onion oil pastry) but it is just like our roti prata but i like it...

We continued walking... Then we came across this weird food daddy's colleague went to buy. Its called Zhu xue gao, direct translation is (pig blood cake). Ewwww... We got a picture of it, the thing is coated with some sauce and peanuts on the outside.

Then... We walked and walked down the street. Came across people selling custard in egg shells. Didn't try but got a picture of it.

We bought a honey aloe vera drink for $30? (around that price). Drink is not bad... Bought pancakes like those sold in mr. bean one with cheese, one with bean paste and one more flavour I forgot. Sold for 3 for $20. Would be around 30 cents for one:P I think I ate the cheese one the next day. Taste wise so...so... Took a train back to taipei main station then MRT to ximen station. It was 21 degrees celcius that night. Not that cold, just need a sweater.

Went back to the hotel and SLEEP. Sooooo tired...

Next day, Daddy and mummy woke up earlier and go out eat breakfast, while me and aaron still ZsZlZeZeZpZiZnZgZ. we ask them if you want to know anything that morning... Will just post the pictures.

Then they came back and woke us up. So we had to get ready to go out again... We went to the national palace museum by MRT. Anyway, forgot to tell you, we bought 4 EZ card which can be used to buy from 7-11, take MRT... Each cost a $100 deposit and the amount you want. When you leave and wanna refund, there will be a transaction fee of $20 if it is used less than 3 months. When we reached the MRT station, took bus the the museum. No bags are allowed inside, we got to deposit them at a place.

It isn't really fun inside, just some copper structures, carved ivory, carved rhino horn. The facinating thing is that they are carved magnificently:P This is outside the museum.

I not very sure how we end up here, but we ate this for lunch. Consist of quite some things. Would say quite nice and will reccommend to others but the problem is I don't know where...
There is something like egg prata for $30, xiao long paus for $70, and beancurd porridge for $15. Its salty beancurd with you tiao inside, difficult to elaborate, just go there and eat.

Then took the MRT to... I think its dan shui (bland water). We wanted to walk somewhere to take a boat ride, I think. But we didn't cause we were quite tired, walked in the nearby street, probably for food and scenery.

Then... we saw TALL ice-cream. Wanted to try some so we bought the small one. The ice-cream taste like very little flavour ice. I won't suggest you try it. Unless you buy for looking.

Then we walked... Bought this erm... something like prawn roll thing. I think its quite nice. Can try for $25? (around there) I cannot remember the prices already...

Continued walking and bought a drink for $30? Its some ice blended mango juice, but they give us ice blended mango syrup. Try to buy stuff from places with longer queues, they food/drink will be better. So it started getting dark at 4pm, quite early (in fact very early), then we saw another TALL ice-cream stall. Price around the same ~ $10? This stall has more flavours, we bought the green tea yam I think.

Then we walked past this stall guo jia guo (pot add pot). Actually its like a restaurant. They sell steamboat:D I think we bought 1 pork flavoured, 1 beef flavoured for 120 each. And 1 mixed with tepanyaki teriyaki chicken? for 129. Because the soup its that nice and it contains mi xue (rice blood). Well I guess its rice with pigs blood. Its in my soup, therefore I had to eat... eww... I would say the pork soup is the best:)

I am lazy to post now... Anyway, its after end of year examinations and holiday has started around 2 weeks already. My results isn't as good as last years, 8 in class and 170+ in level position... well, this year is streaming. I can only remember my first three choices... erm... 1. 8S3H1G 2. 8S3H1H 3. 8s2PH2HG, yea thats about it. And I have already gotten the results:P Guess what did I get? 1st choice!!! Unexpected as my results isn't that great. Many of 2bn'10 also going 3jt... Only jaf qi got into 9 subs from 2bn'10... Going to tai wan soon, excited yet afraid... It will be tiring walking everywhere... What should I talk about??? Have been playing runescape lately, as well as selling items on hardwarezone forum. So far sold 2 laptop bags for 10 dollars, heat sink fan for 5 dollars, cpu for 5 dollars, modem for 10 dollars, thatshould be about it:P I get bored of runescape... after training for soooo long. halfway packing our bags for taiwan... Sitting china airlines, wonder how good is it... china products are usually below standard, like milk they add melamine(dunno how spell), bad to ppl just for money... Universal Studios Singapore

Went to universal studios Singapore on 17 April 2010. It was Aaron's birthday. This is the globe outside universal studio. I will give ratings for rides and shows.

When we just entered. This "street" has shops selling souvenirs.

This is the battlestar galactica. Unfortunately, It was closed due to technical problems. It was said that it will open in december 2010. However, their business was still as good as expected-13 million visitors a year. 0/10

This is just outside the "mummy ride". We couldn't bring bags in and had to put in the lockers provided. However, if we use the locker for more than 30 minutes, they will charge us. This ride is the best. Queue is not too long though we had to walk a very long distance before taking the ride. It is quite dark inside, the lights will dim and brighten. Why is this ride good? First, the ride is fully air-conditioned, as you know singapore is very hot. Next, it is exciting, way better than the next one mentioned below. Lastly, we did not follow the path (which is too long, maybe 200m long???), so we took the shorcut(find it yourself). 9½/10

Took this very slow ride. Not exciting at all. 4/10

Next, we went to have lunch. As we went during the soft opening, they provided $10 fodd and breverage for each person. We bought this pizza set, which cost around $40. So we managed to spent it for 4 persons. This is the pizza with my hand on top(not touching). Look at how big it is! 8/10

After lunch, we went to this madagascar merry go round. 5/10

Then we took enchanted airways- a simple and short rollercoaster ride. Good but its very hot, it will stop for around 1 min under the sun so that the other carriage can move off first or else they will collide. 7/10

Next, we took pictures with shrek and fiona. Shrek is FAT.

Went to take the accelerator ride(thats what they call it but i think high tech tea-cup is more like it). This ride isn't fantastic although it isn't boring. Bad things are: When we turn the wheel very fast the thing turns very slowly. The ride is too short! 6/10

We also took rapids adventure. I think this ride ain't great mostly because of the long queue. One and a half hour of queueing in a very stuffy area. Once u think you passed the queue outside and the queue would be quicker inside-you're wrong. The queue inside is longer than you think. And I hate getting myself wet. I'll rate this ride quite terribly of 2/10

Trip to Kukup

Went to Malaysia from 29th may 2010 to 31st may 2010. First destination was kukup, located on the western part of Malaysia. "Kukup is a small fishing village located about forty kilometres southwest of Johor Bahru, in the district of Pontian, Johor, on the Strait of Malacca in Malaysia. It is famous for its open-air seafood restaurants built on stilts over the water. Some of the restaurants are geared for tour groups, and it is particularly popular with tourists from Singapore. Regularly scheduled ferries connect Kukup with Tanjung Balai in Indonesia." Quoted from wikipedia:) Makes my introduction alot easier.

On the way, we went to a ba kut teh shop. Because we departed at around 7am and some people might be hungry. It was around noon then.

When we reached there, we parked our car at this car park. While waiting for the minivan to fetch us. It was scorching hot!

Then we went to have lunch at this restaurant. The food were delicious. we had dishes like lemon chicken, steamed fish with Thai sauce, to fu, steamed prawn, crab, vegetable, jelly dessert. ( I might have forgotten some)

Next, we went to our chalet, built right above the muddy ground. It emits a strong stench. Probably because of the huge amount of waste thrown onto the ground. We could find mud skippers jumping around. Plenty of rubbish spotted. I was afraid that I might fall into that "rubbish dump". When we arrived at the chalet, it was better than expected. It was fully air-conditioned, and there were 2 bedrooms. "For 13 people?" you might ask- yes. the chalet could actually accommodate 16 people. There was a very large double Decker bed which can accommodate 3 person each deck and a normal double Decker bed. In total, each room can accommodate 8 people. This is the television and karaoke provided. Though the karaoke songs are quite old...

The owner provided prawn cracker for tea break. It was deep fried and very oily. That's why we used tissue paper to absorb the oil.

This is how the bed looks like. We played cards, hand phones, sang songs for the whole afternoon.

We had BBQ food for dinner. The owners just started the fire.

Dinner is ready. We had a sumptuous BBQ buffet. The tables and chairs are like those of a coffee shop. The food is delicious. We ate BBQ chicken, satay, chilli sotong, prawn, chilli stingray, sweetcorn, etc.

After eating, we sat there to talk and wait for the adults.

We went back to the chalet to play while the adults went to buy fire crackers. This is how they look like.

The fire crackers were fun as I got to light up a few. However, the "bee" firecracker didn't seem to be able to shoot up. It lights up, but did not "fly" like it is supposed to be. Only at the last few then we know how to arrange it such that it will be able to "fly" up high. We also had a mini fireworks. Unfortunately, I was afraid the ashes might fall into my eyes, so I ran away. Missed the fireworks... However, we could admire other families fireworks which are quite a distance away from us. And then there was this xu yuan deng, it is a lantern that uses the hot air balloon's concept where we light up a fire and let it float while making wishes. It floated very far away till it was covered by the clouds. One more thing, we were actually above mud during the day, but we were above the sea at night. Before we sleep, we arranged the chairs to block the door as the main door cannot be locked. Empty water bottles were put on top of the chairs so that, if the chairs move the bottle will drop, causing noise. Therefore if anyone tries to steal our things, they will be caught=D Look at how it is arranged.

Did not have a very good sleep as it was freezing!!! I woke up at around 5am to go toilet. Didn't dare to on the light as it will be noisy, probably the ventilation fan sound was noisy. Had to pee in almost total darkness. Then I saw that the air-conditioner temperature is set to 16 degrees celcuis. So I changed it to 22 degrees, not too high as I am afraid people are feeling hot. Went back to sleep. Woken up by cousins at around 7am. Breakfast was ready on the majong table. They didn't have dinning table or coffee table because we were suppose to eat at the jetty. However, the adults takeaway for us so that we could have a little longer sleep. Early morning with the moon still in the sky.

After breakfast, we went for a boat ride around a fish farm. The driver brought us to the middle of the sea, explained to us about kukup, then sold some tourist stuff. After that he brought us to a fish farm where we saw different fishes. We saw a baby shark, a huge jelly fish(approximately 17cm in diameter top view), many archer fishes. These fishes are very unique. To catch their prey, they will literally squrit water at their prey so that thay drop into the water. Then the boat fetch us back to our chalet where we played for another hour, then we had to leave.

Bintan trip 2009

Went to Bintan from 20 to 22 december 2009. Stayed in a Bintan lagoon resort angsoka villa for 3 days 2 nights. Very huge villa, got a swimming pool, 4 bedrooms, a kitchen, 3 toilets, living room, dinning area, BBQ pit, Balconey, and a room for playing??? This room has 2 glass doors 2 sofas and a table in the middle. We play cards there. Total number of beds: 8. Total number of sofas(2 seater or more): 7. This means this villa can easily accomadate 15 people, but only 8 of us went. I will be posting some pictures. It is a 2 story 325sqm villa, how huge! We had a promotion using OCBC card to book this villa for S$350 per night!

We went back to the villa's swimming pool to swim instead. Swam for almost two hours!

This is the BBQ pit. We had BBQ dinner for the first night. However it is very difficult to start the fire. We didn't have matches, so we used the fire from the kitchen stove. Aaron took about an hour to light up the fire. Because the wind the blew so strong such that the fire extinguish even before reaching the BBQ pit. See the towels and slippers on the bench, we are probably swimming at that time =D

This is my first post for the new year. I know it's quite late... But anyways... I have watched the movie "Avatar" last Sunday. Wanted to watch for 3 weeks already but always cancelled because of timing and they only have 3D. The movie is quite fast when there is action so I it was very difficult to watch. I didn't watch the 3D one, just 2D.If you haven't watch it, you should try. It's about an "Avatar world" and the "human world". Because there are lots of gold under the Avatar's home tree, the humans want to talk to them, to ask them to move away so that the humans can dig out the gold. The humans created avatar bodies which are huge and strong. Then humans will control the avatars mind through a machine. The movie is something like that. If you want to know the ending, go watch the movie yourself.
On Wednesday evening when I came home from school, there was an accident near Tanjong Katong complex. It involves a motorbike and a car. We were heading Singapore post, on the left lane, we saw the car's front wheels on top of the motor bike. The mirror of the car was knocked from the back of the car.
It is something like that I don't know how to explain...Bye! I will post next time if I want to:) Remember to go to the toilet before watching the movie because the movie lasts for 2 and a half hour.

Chinese textbook(lost during oral)

I have posted the exam dates and the time. I feel extremely nervous as today is the first day the exam starts. I lost my chinese textbook after the chinese oral. I was told to put the book into a box when i have the oral. there were 3 classes there BN, CR, DL. I left my book in the middle box which i think it was my class' box. the signs stick to it had fallen off. If I had not forgotten, I left my book in the middle box... So i have to study from my ting xie book, bi ji, xi zi, and the first half year text book. I failed my history test 4/12. very sad:(.but my Biology is the highest in class! I scored 39.9/50 for CA2. And my recent maths test scored 15/20. But quite long ago, I failed 2 quizes, 3/8 and 8/20. But for maths CA2, i scored 81.7%. Chemistry so far quite OK. never fail before, quite average in class. English test is over, so now must focus on other subjects.

Singapore's birthday is tomorrow! I hope that every one will recite the pledge tomorrow at 8.22pm sharp. This year's goodie bag looks quite interesting. Yesterday we had a celebration in school. They had a don't forget the lyrics. It was quite fun. They played the previous national day songs. So school ended early. After that had a buffet at the chess room. It is the farewell party for secondary 4s.

Mummy's Birthday!

Hi everyone. The school holidays are now over :( I went to school in the morning and they have a thermometer check. I very scared contracting the H1N1 flu. Almost all of the vendors in the canteen changed except for 3 stalls. Now must be more health conscious. If contracted flu will be quarantine for 7 days I think. Then will not be able to go to school. Cause EOY exams should be in 13 weeks time, SO SOON!!!

13th BIRTHDAY

25th of June was my birthday! Now its 11.55pm on 26th. forgotten to post yesterday. Yesterday we woke up at 7am. Daddy drove us to JB. The customs were quite fast. We went to mcdonald to buy the RM4 breakfast. It comes with a coffee and a mcsauage muffin. We wanted to bring over to the carefour opposite but it was still closed. So we went to tesco to eat breakfast. Me and Zhi Liang ate the mcdonald. Mummy and daddy ate the prata there. It was quite cheap only RM0.80 per piece. After that went to look for my birthday cake. After that we went to buy some chipster. It costs RM1.99 each packet. We planned to go to Jusco opposite to watch transformers. Then daddy drove us to Jusco. The cinema was not opened yet! So we waited outside for awhile. Then when it opened, we rushed in to get a ticket. The show was good. It was exciting with lots of actions. Then after the show, we went to buy some durians. We ate our lunch at Pizza hut. The total bill for 4 persons was RM40. Then went to look for birthday cakes while mummy go shopping. After that went to Tesco again to buy more chipsters, Muzic, donuts, frozen harsh browns, etc. Then we drove back home. We reached home at about 5+pm. After dinner, at about 10pm, we cut my birthday cake. I was very happy. My birthday present was a pyjamas!

Japan trip(from 3rd-9th nov)

I went to Japan,tokyo on 3rd november 2008.I had to wake up at 3.00am and Reached airport at about 4am. When I got onto the plane, NW20, I watched a few movies like Elf(comedy),sponebob spuare pants, fairly odd parents andJourney to the centre of the earth.Ride was about 7hours.
When we reach there, we went to look for guide maps and bought train tickets. We caught a train and rode to Keisei Ueno station.
This is the hotel I stayed in from 3-6 and 7-9 Nov.
Me and my brother shared 1 room and my parents shared the other room. The hotel room is rather small, with a queen-sized bed.

After we checked in at about 5pm, I stayed in the hotel, while my parents went out to explore with my bro. I slept in the hotel until 7pm (Japan Time) and waited for my family to come back. I didn't even know my bro went out because before that, he was still around.

They came at around 7.40pm with my dinner, its a Yoshinoya Beef Don. Yummy, I love it! I immediately gobbled up the dinner. After that, I went to bathe and slept again. (End of Day1)

Woke up early, went to UENO PARK, followed by Asakusa Temple, we saw alot of very beautiful Chrysenthenum. Then we took the Tokyo Metro train Shinjuku and Harajuku. We walked alot until our legs were aching. In Shinjuku, we went to Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building and took a very beautiful picture of Tokyo City.

It was very boring walking in Shinjuku and Harajuku.(End of Day2)

My favourite day, today! Went to TOKYO DISNEYSEA !!!
We took lots of rides, like Raging Spirits, Journey to the Centre of the Earth (that's why I watched the movie on the plane), Indiana Jones (Kingdom of the Crystal Skull), Tower of Terror (one of the scariest rides), Aquatopia, wanted to go StormRider, but was closed, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Carousel, watched a Aladdin Show, Sinhbad book of Voyage, Jumping Jellyfish, Blowfish Balloon race, Flounder Flying Fish Coaster, Whirlpool, Skuttle Scooter, Ariel's Playground, DisneySea Electric Railway (train ride), DisneySea Transit Streamer Line (a boat ride), watched BraviSEAmo, The Legend of Mythica, etc (End of Day3)

In the morning, woke up and took a train to Kawaguchiko, which is at the foot of Mt. Fuji. We stayed in K's House, see picture below.

We took a Retro Bus around Lake Kawaguchi and took a ropeway (cable car) up Tenjoyama to get a better view of Mt Fuji. These are some of the pictures we took.

After that, we went to a Supermarket at Ogino and bought some food and snacks. See our dinner.

We bought a box Nato-Maki (yellow fermented beans), it tasted a little sour and bad smell and there was some sticky stuff like spider webs as there are many spiders around that area?!! The whole place was like infested with spiders.

We laid the futon on the tatami and slept in it for the night. It was very cold when I slept. The hotel provides 4 computers with free internet access at the check-in area. They also had TV room, a kitchen, and a dining area. The toilet at that place is very nice, it warms up the toilet seat and we can wash our buttocks. HaHa! I tried it many times. (End of day 4)

Next Day,I woke up at 6+am - quite late cause suppose to wake up at 5.00am. My family all woke up and ate break fast and prepare to go back to sardonyx hotel already. After that I finished my breakfast downstairs at the dinning room.

We went out for a walk nearby, which I hate the most because we have no destination but just walking...Cant stay in the hotel because we checked out already. The nato-maki tased a little spoiled, so we went back to the supermarket and ask for refund or change it with another one. It is very difficult to talk to the person as we do not know any japanese at all. In the end we didnt managed to change another one.

We took the Jr line back to sardonyx hotel. After settling down our lugguage (not us), we head to Ginza Sony Showroom, played a game or two. Then left for The Imperial Palace, but by the time we reached there, it was closed ! The last entry allowed was at 3.30pm, we reached there at about 4.30pm :(

What should I update?? post what? Oh, this Friday is my PSLE English, Monday-Wednesday is Maths, Chinese, Science respectively. My prelim results is only 208, how to get 260?! So big difference, it is 52 marks difference!!! This is the next event and on 8 October I going out with fiends at the Kallang leisure park to celebrate birthday which is suppose to be last Wednesday.

Hi, back again. Now got my prelim results already. English got 67.25(I think). Chinese got 71.25. Maths got 82. And science got 81.5. So I have grade B,B,A,A respectively.

So long never post already because lazy. So far I am quite "OK" with my results except for English and Chinese. I work very hard but still at most get only 70. I am aiming for 260+ for PSLE but i think cannot because I calculated my SA1 results and got 230+. :(

Prelim Oral

My prelim oral just passed. It was on 23 and 24 July. At that moment I very scared cause first time got two teachers. English picture is about cinema and Chinese is about sports day. I think the worst part is the conversation as I sometimes forgot to look at the teacher and they keep asking me questions.

Mapling

Today, I woke up and played maple for about 3 hrs. I played my babyditz00. When I just started, I did a quest and it gave me WA and MA +20, ACC and EVA +50, SPEED and JUMP +10, WD and MD +100 for 1 hr. So I continuiosly train on green mushroom for 1 hr and I leveled 1 time and 50%. After it finished, I just trian normally on orange mushroom for 2 hrs. I party a thief level 23 and then he train me, then level again. Now I level 21, 20% already. I so far trained about 2 levels. :)

My tooth broke!!!

Today my top right 3rd tooth tip broke. My tooth now very sharp. When it broke off, I thought that something stuck there and it is very sharp. Then, I ask mummy why so sharp she said that my tooth broke. I was very shock. Then, I ask daddy what happen and he said the tip broke. I am very sad to have a broken tooth coz I know all my tooth drop and all of them are permanent tooth already. SOOOO SAD :(

Today, I woke up quite late and prepare to bring Zhi Liang to chess competition and have lunch. My family all went to bring him there. We ate fish soup at Kampong Glam community centre hawker centre. I love the fish soup there.After we ate our lunch, Zhi Liang went to the competition and we stayed there for a while. Daddy read newspaper there and mummy talked to somebody's mother for a while. After that, we went to Geylang east community to borrow some books and CDs. After that, we went home to watch a show and daddy and mummy went to sleep. I was very tired so I read a book i borrowed from the library. After daddy and mummy woke up we went to Lau Pa Sat to eat dinner and fetch Zhi Liang. I ate duck rice and pau. then everybody aye Hokkien Mee. After our dinner we walked around CBD and bought a milkshake. After that, we went home. I watched another show went we came home. I continued to read my book after that. Watched Zhi Liang played Dawn of War and then played a few miniclip games...

What I do today

Today very normal. Wake up then do work. Then lunch time me, mummy and Zhi Liang go to geylang east central. On the way, something terrible happen. A tree branch fell of the tree. I heard the noise and thought that Zhi Liang step on something. Then after that, I asked mummy what she thought was that. She said that she thought that ZhiLiang fell. After that, we went to eat mee pok. Quite nice. After that we go to Shop and Save and bought 'Lays Stax BBQ flavour '. Heavy rain when we go back but light rain when we come, so luckily brought 3 umbrellas. : ) Then come home do my jian bao, mummy play maple...

Today I got so much homework!!! I got 9 homework altogether!!! Now I am resting. About to go le. The America holiday very fun. My favourite rides are Test Track, Expedition Everest and Soarin. The scariest one is Tower Of TERROR!! I was stuck on one ride called Primval Whirl. I cried at that ride until someone came to rescue and took another car. It was very very very very fun. I got to go le! BB.

Yesterday was my english exam. It was a little difficult and I know i have at least one wrong already because teacher told us today. Oh and maths is today, it was very difficult and i dont know how how to the last three questions. so sad. At least I finished it all.The last three questions I anyhow guess one, I just use the given number and times, minus, plus or, divide. Tomorrow have chinese and next monday have science. : )
